Memorable Manitobans: Franklin Coulson Pain (1884-1934)Born at Mitcham, England on 5 October 1884, son of Oliver Pain, he worked in the construction industry, as a member of the firm Pain and Roe until his death. On 22 October 1912, he married Maud Elizabeth McKellar (?-1965) at Winnipeg. They had no children. He died at the Winnipeg General Hospital on 6 March 1934 and was buried in the Brookside Cemetery.
