Memorable Manitobans: Leslie Milton Osland (1921-1993)

MLA (1973-1977).

Born on 4 April 1921, he was elected to the Manitoba Legislature at the 1973 general election, representing the Churchill constituency. He did not seek re-election in 1977, the same year that he received the Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Medal. He died at Spruce Grove, Alberta, of emphysema, on 2 March 1993.
