Memorable Manitobans: Nancy Noonan (1920-1990)Musician. Born at Medicine Hat, Alberta in 1920, she was raised in Brandon. She studied piano at the Trinity School of Music in London and came to Winnipeg in the 1940s as a teacher, accompanist, and ensemble performer. She helped found the University of Manitoba Chamber Music Group. Noonan became a student again, attending Brandon University from 1979 to 1982. She died at St. Boniface in 1990.
