Home economist.
Born at Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia on 29 February 1892, youngest of five children of Margaret Elizabeth Casey (1854-?) and Joseph Moxon (?-?), her primary and secondary education occurred at Truro. She attended the University of Saskatchewan and Macdonald Institute, and received a doctoral degree from the University of Chicago and an MA degree in Education (1932) from the University of Manitoba.
In 1919, she joined the staff of the Manitoba Agricultural College as a lecturer in foods and nutrition. She was later a professor in the Faculty of Agriculture and Home Economics, and a professor in the Faculty of Education, until retirement in December 1951. She was active in the establishment, in Winnipeg, of the Canadian Home Economists Association in 1939. She also served as President of the Manitoba Home Economics Association (1937, 1955-1956).
She died unmarried at Vancouver, British Columbia on 1 June 1986.
