Educator, community activist.
Born at Winnipeg on 28 December 1940, son of Otto and Evelyn Moldowan, his childhood was spent near Chatfield, being educated by correspondence until attending Teulon High School for grades 11 and 12. He worked for a few years then became a teacher, serving as the Principal of Tilston School (1964-1966), Miniota School (1966-1969), and Elphinstone School (1970-1971). In 1971, he came to Stonewall and taught for another 13 years before becoming a bus driver. He retired in 2005. He served on the Stonewall municipal council, the Stonewall United Church council, and was a Stoneweall school trustee. In 1981, he ran for a seat in the Manitoba Legislature for the Lakeside constituency but was defeated by Harry Enns. He died at Stonewall on 27 April 2013.
