Memorable Manitobans: Frank Mikolayenko (c1919-2001)Educator. Born at Trembowla, Poland of Ukrainian parents, he emigrated to Canada with his family in 1930 and settled at Ethelbert. He worked as a teacher until retirement in 1973, serving as the Principal of Stockton School (1952-1953), Rosebank School (1953-1954), Dehowa School (1954-1958), Queen Elizabeth School (1958-1959), and Vivian School (1959-1960).
