Educator.
Born at Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on 5 November 1882, daughter of Andrew Brissette (1846-1921) and Judith Boucher (1848-1911), she was a public school teacher in Ontario by 1911. She later taught in rural Manitoba, including at Elton School (1913-1914), Broomhill School (1914-1915), near Stonewall (c1916), Hazelridge School (1917-1920, Principal), Narcisse School (1920), and Niverville School (?-?). On 18 July 1925, she married James McKinnon (1872-1955) at Precieux Sang Catholic Parish in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She died in 1963 and was buried in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at Sault Ste. Marie.
