Machinist, municipal official.
Born at Winnipeg on 28 December 1911, where he lived all his life, he was educated at Cecil Rhodes School and Daniel McIntyre Collegiate and became a machinist with the Canadian Pacific Railway at its Weston Shops. He was elected to the Winnipeg city council in 1946 for Ward 2, serving for 12 years until his death. He was a member of the CCF and Sparling United Church. He died at his Winnipeg home, 1584 Alexander Avenue, on 9 September 1958 and was buried in Brookside Cemetery.
