Memorable Manitobans: Marvin Vernon McDill (1928-1988)Lawyer. Born at Winnipeg on 18 May 1928, he graduated from the University of Manitoba with his law degree in 1957. A founding member and senior partner in the law firm of Ballem, McDill, MacInnes and Eden, he was a member of the International Bar Association, American Trial Lawyer’s Association and the Canadian Foundation for Legal Research. He also served as Chairman and Director of Canada’s Americas Cup Challenge Inc., the Director of the Calgary Olympic Development Association, and a former President and honorary life member of the 400 Club.
