Real estate broker.
Born at Shelburne, Ontario on 25 June 1887, son of Samuel and Emily McCutcheon, he was educated at public schools and the Central Business College at Toronto. He worked in the drug business at Calgary, Alberta in 1905 then came to Winnipeg in 1906 as a partner in the real estate firm of McCutcheon Brothers, with offices at 447 Main Street, Winnipeg. He was also Manager of the Camrose Security Company, Saskatchewan Development Company, and Camrose Development Company. In 1912, he married Tena Shackleton (1888-1970) at Toronto, Ontario. He was a Liberal and a Presbyterian. He died in June 1956.
