Educator.
Born in the RM of Winchester on 12 August 1920, daughter of Ethel Collen (1896-1942) and Edward Caldbick (1879-1959), she married farmer Benjamin Howard “Ben” Franklin (1907-1953) and they had two children before his death. She taught at Croll School (?-?), Thirlstane School (?-?), and Dand School (1954-1957). In 1957, she married farmer Ralph Nelson Manshreck (1917-1999) of Dand and they had two more children. She was widely regarded for her saskatoon pies. She died at Deloraine on 29 August 2013 and was buried in the Del Win Cemetery.
