Educator.
Born at Fisher Branch on 24 August 1913, he taught at a succession of schools in rural Manitoba, including Fisher Branch School, Cooks Creek School, Cromwell School, and Thalberg North School (1939-1941). He was the Principal of Ladywood School (1944-1950) and Cloverleaf School (1952-1954). In 1954, he moved to Winnipeg where he was associated with Schreyer Equipment while teaching in the North Kildonan School District and River East School Division, including at Lord Kitchener School / John Pritchard School (1954-1957, 1958-1959, 1962-1967) until early retirement in 1971. He died at Winnipeg on 16 June 1991 and was buried in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Cooks Creek.
