Memorable Manitobans: William Norman Macneil (1877-?)Businessman. Born River Bourgeois, Nova Scotia, 1877, son of M. J. T. and M. M. Macneil. Educated St. Francois Xavier College. Taught school in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, 1897. Came to Winnipeg, 1905, entering motor business; engaged with Dunlop Company, 1906; went to Calgary, 1909, to establish new branch there; came to Winnipeg, 1911 to take present position. Address: Winnipeg. In 1911, Macneil was Manager of the Western Division, Dunlop Tire and Rubber Goods Company, with headquarters at Winnipeg.
