Memorable Manitobans: Christine LeGoff (1915-1994)Designer. Born at St. Boniface on 21 January 1915, daughter of Louise and Jean LeGoff, sister of Pauline LeGoff Boutal, she attended St. Joseph's Academy and the Winnipeg School of Art. She was a noted Winnipeg fashion artist and costume designer for Brigden's of Canada. She was also involved with Le Cercle Molière as an actor, director, and costume designer. In 1963, she received the Canadian Drama Award in recognition of her service to the development of Canadian drama.
