Educator.
Born in Scotland in 1899, he emigrated to Canada in 1915. He taught school at Hnausa School (1923) and was Principal of Cloverdale School (1929-1938), Starbuck School (1938-1942), and Pilot Mound School (1942-1944). He moved to St. Vital in 1944 where he continued to teach. On 30 July 1932, he married Marjorie Creak (1909-2001) at the RM of Assiniboia and they had four children. He was a member of the Manitoba Teachers Society and St. Vital United Church. He died at Winnipeg on 16 June 1953 and was buried in the St. Vital Cemetery.
