Physician.
Born in Poland in 1958, she came to Canada in 1988 with her husband Mariusz Kolakowski and interned in medicine at Winnipeg then began a medical practice at Gladstone that included work at the Sandy Bay First Nation. She later worked for several years at a medical clinic in downtown Winnipeg before moving to Emerson and later to Morris to be closer to her home at Ste. Agathe. She practiced in the area for 20 years and was much beloved by her patients and the Morris community. She died suddenly on 12 August 2023 in an act of family violence.
