Memorable Manitobans: Morris Kim (1890-1949)Furrier. Born in Russia in May 1890, he moved from New York City to Winnipeg in 1913 where he was the proprietor of M. Kim Furs until his death, after which his wife Sadie Korman (1897-?) continued to operate the business until retirement in 1973. They had no children. He died at the Misericordia Hospital on 2 January 1949 and was buried in the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery. See also:
