Memorable Manitobans: R. Bruce Kilbourne (1875-1918)

Teacher, lawyer.

Born in Ontario, he taught school at Ninga, Boissevain and Deloraine. In 1910, he moved to Winnipeg and took legal training with the firms of Aikins, Loftus and Aikins, and D. R. C. Maclean. He was solicitor for the Board of Retail Merchants Association. He died of pneumonia during the flu epidemic at St. Boniface, Manitoba on 11 November 1918.
