Memorable Manitobans: John Keogh (c1939-1988)Educator. Born at Abertridwr, South Wales, he attended the University of Wales at Aberystwyth between 1958 and 1962, receiving a BA degree. In 1965, he emigrated to Canada and came to Brandon where he taught at Vincent Massey High School and became, by 1968, the Vice-Principal. He then spent 13 years as the Principal of Neelin High School until September 1988 when he was appointed the Principal of Vincent Massey. He died at the Brandon General Hospital on 2 December 1988.
