Harry Inman

Businessman.
Born at Pudsey, Yorkshire around 1889, he came to Canada in 1908. He worked for the Carriage Factory Limited at Brockville, Ontario for 15 years before joining the General Motors Acceptance Corporation and working there for another 15 years. In 1938, he established Inman Motors in Winnipeg and was its President until his death.
He and wife Winnifred Ellen Inman (?-?) had four children: Norman Arthur Inman (1916-1983), Charles Douglas Inman (1925-2005), Eleanor Inman (wife of F. J. Collins), and Mae Inman (wife of T. W. Hughes). He was a member of the Westminster United Church, YMCA of Greater Winnipeg, and Winnipeg Rotary Club.
He died at the Winnipeg home, 111 Grenfell Boulevard, on 22 January 1965 and was buried in the Garry Memorial Park.
