Educator.
Born at Argyle on 20 February 1895, daughter of Margaret Tait (1858-1933) and William Aaron Inkster, she was educated at Bruce School, Stonewall High School, and the Central Normal School. She taught at Bruce School (1914), Kilmory School (1915), Brant Consolidated School (1920-1923, Principal), and Clarkleigh School (?-?) then, after specialized training, she taught at the Manitoba School for the Deaf (1931-1938). She later taught at Saskatoon before moving to Montreal where she established a school for the deaf and taught there for ten years. Some of her students went on to receive doctoral degrees. She died at the Grace Hospital on 18 February 1989 and was buried in the Stonewall Cemetery.
