Educator.
Born at Souris on 8 February 1914, daughter of Fred and Ruth Whyte, she was educated at Portage la Prairie and the Central Normal School. She taught at Fortier School for five years then, in June 1939, she married farmer Ivan Holliday, quit teaching and raised three children. She returned to teaching in 1954 and served as the Principal of Oakville School (1963-1974). She retired in 1974 and died at Winnipeg on 12 September 2011.
