Business manager.
Born at Hemmingford, Quebec on 9 September 1863, son of Marshall and Elizabeth Hall, he was educated at Ontario public schools until the age of 18 when, in February 1882, he came to Manitoba and homesteaded for 15 years. He later operated a 3,000-acre ranch near Brandon until 1898 when he entered the insurance business, becoming Inspector (1900) and later Manager (1910) of the Imperial Life Insurance Company at Brandon. On 4 February 1891, he married Isabella A. Touchborne (?-?) at Brandon. They had four daughters: Florence Hall, Helen Hall, Beatrice Hall, and Marian Hall. The family resided at 360 Eighth Street. He served on the Brandon city council (c1919). He died on 24 January 1927 and was buried in the Brandon Cemetery.
