Baker.
Born in Poland, he came to Winnipeg in the mid-1920s and, after working in a bakery for several years, started his own bakery on Selkirk Avenue in 1937. On 29 November 1930, he married Fagel “Florence” Grodzenczik (c1908-1998) at Winnipeg and they had three children: Betty Gunn (wife of Max Reisch), Bernard “Bernie” Gunn, and Arthur “Faivie” Gunn. He was a member of the B'nai B'rith and Ashkenaze Synagogue. He died at Miami, Florida on 5 March 1973 and was buried in the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery.
