Memorable Manitobans: William Grimble (1925-1993)


Born at Winnipeg on 5 September 1925, son of English immigrants Sidney Grimble (1890-1977) and Florence Grimble (1887-1978), he was admitted to the Manitoba Bar in 1953 and practiced law with the firm Pitblado. He served as a Bencher for the Law Society of Manitoba and was made a Queen’s Counsel in 1967. He died unmarried at Winnipeg on 16 March 1993.
