Accountant, businessman, community activist.
Born at Arnprior, Ontario on 1 March 1937, he attended Sault Ste. Marie Collegiate and Queens University, receiving a BA degree from the latter (1958). He moved to Toronto to join an accounting firm, beginning a 39-year career as an accountant until retirement in 1997. Much of that time was spent in Winnipeg until he returned to Toronto in 1984. During his tenure in Winnipeg, he was involved in business ventures with Duff Roblin and Alan Moore, and he served as President of the Winnipeg Art Gallery. He also was a member of the national board for the Victorian Order of Nurses. He died on 21 April 2014.
