Businessman.
Born at Selkirk in 1873, son of F. R. Gemmel, he was associated for a time with the firm of Gemmel and Kochen, later secretary of the Selkirk Land and Investment Company. He was President of the Selkirk Board of Trade. He died of a heart attack at Selkirk on 29 March 1929 and was buried in the Mapleton Cemetery. He was survived by a wife and eight children.
