Lawyer.
Born at Birmingham, England, he came to Canada with his family around 1914. He was educated in Winnipeg schools and attended the University of Manitoba (BA 1929) and graduated from the Manitoba Law School in 1931. He was called to the Manitoba Bar later that year then practiced privately until 1940 when he joined the legal department of the City of Winnipeg. He was appointed City Solicitor in 1954. He was made a Queen’s Counsel in 1957. He retired in May 1969. He lived at 267 Borebank Street.
