Cleric, educator, school inspector.
Born in Ontario of Irish parents, he was the minister of West Prospect Methodist Church from 1884 to 1887, Founder and Principal of Lansdowne College from 1887 to 1892, and also a School Inspector for the Portage la Prairie area during this period. He was married to Mary Franklin (c1861-?) and they had no children. He died at Rockfield, Ontario on 14 September 1903.
