Memorable Manitobans: George Joseph Forzley (1935-2006)Community activist. Born at Winnipeg on 15 March 1935, he graduated from Daniel McIntyre Collegiate (1952) then worked for the City of Winnipeg for 38 years, retiring in 1991. Active in the Masonic fraternity (Ancient Landmark Lodge No. 3), he was Worshipful Master (1968) and Secretary. He served as Master of the Grand Lodge of Manitoba (2005-2006).
