Educator.
Born at Eston, Saskatchewan around 1940, she grew up at Grand Coulee and Regina, attended the Teacher's College at Moose Jaw, and later received a BEd degree from the University of Manitoba. In 1960, she married Michael Evaschesen and they lived at Regina and Saskatoon before moving to Winnipeg.
She was a teacher, Principal of Victory School (1988-1990) and Elwick Community School (1991-1993), and Assistant Superintendent wit the Seven Oaks School Division. She served on the boards for various community organizations, including the Canadian Western Horse Association, Work and Social Opportunities Inc. (WASO), and Seven Oaks Hospital (Chair), and was an active member of the Atlantic-Garden City United Church, Commonwealth Society, and Royal Canadian Legion (Brandon 215).
She died at Winnipeg on 9 March 2024.
