Dentist.
Born at Iroquois, Ontario on 2 March 1881, son of Charles Doran (?-?) and Rachel Catherine Carman (1843-1928), he came to Manitoba with his family in 1892 and graduated from Brandon Collegiate Institute in 1899. For the next eight years he farmed while studying dentistry during the winter. He graduated in dentistry in 1910 and began a practice at Brandon. He died in 1964 and was buried in the Brandon Cemetery.
