Civil servant.
He graduated from the University of North Dakota and did postgraduate studies at the University of Manitoba. His work with the Manitoba provincial government and later the Canadian federal government took him into the development of several First Nation projects. He helped begin the Aboriginal Group of Seven whose members included Jackson Beardy and Eddie Cobiness. He was involved with the Mustang Football Club and promoted youth sport. He died at Winnipeg in November 2003. His cremains were scattered in the Lake of the Woods.
