Educator, artist.
Born at Flin Flon on 18 June 1948, daughter of Margaret and Jack Delgatty, she graduated from Hapnot Collegiate then received BSc and BEd degrees from the University of Manitoba. She starting teaching at Gilbert Plains then moved to Winnipeg in 1971 where she taught in schools of the River East School Division. After retirement, she became active in painting as a member of the Local Colour Art Group. Her “Missing Women” series was exhibited in several Canadian galleries and one of the paintings was chosen for use in a Canadian high school art textbook. She died at Winnipeg on 9 May 2018.
