Educator.
Born at Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on 29 May 1924, son of Frank Alfred Dann and Mary Cecile La Croix, he served primarily aboard corvettes of the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War and continued his military service into the post-War years with No. 402 Squadron (Reserve) of the Royal Canadian Air Force. He taught in the Winnipeg School District at Tec-Voc High School (1952-1966), was Vice-Principal of Yorkton Regional Comprehensive High School (?-?, at Yorkton, Saskatchewan), and returned to Winnipeg as Principal of Kildonan East Regional Secondary School (1971-1983). He was a lead figure in the creation of the Ascot Park Housing Co-op. He married Norma Joyce Jackson (1925-2005) and they had three daughters. He died at Winnipeg on 3 August 1996.
