Memorable Manitobans: Martin Searle Corne (c1934-2022)
Lawyer.
Born at Winnipeg around 1934, he studied law at the University of Manitoba then practiced law with his brother Alvin Corne and uncle H. I. Corne in the firm of Corne and Corne. He also taught for the Canadian Bankers Association and Manitoba Bar admission course. He was made a Queen's Counsel in 1978. He performed in many Manitoba Bar Association productions. He died at Winnipeg on 22 March 2022.
