Businessman, community activist.
Born at Winnipeg on 29 March 1908, son of ? Christie and Kathleen Maud Campbell, he worked at the Stephens Paint Company for 37 years, holding the position of Vice-President at the time of his death. He was Board Chairman of the Alcoholism Foundation of Manitoba and, since 1963, its Executive Director. On 2 October 1940, he married musician Vida Jane Guthrie (1909-1990) at Winnipeg and they had one daughter. He died at the Winnipeg General Hospital on 14 July 1965 and was buried in the St. John's Cathedral Cemetery.
