Restauranteur.
Born at Varvitsa, Sparta, Greece on 25 September 1922, he came to Canada in 1951. He looked after the Broadway Florist greenhouses in St. James from 1951 until 1963, when he ventured into the restaurant business with the purchase of Nick’s Inn Restaurant in Headingley. The place became an institution, where he often could be found wielding a coffee pot and a friendly greeting. He was a life member of the Greek Orthodox Church and served on its board for several years. He died at Winnipeg on 13 May 2008.
