William Glenn Carlson

Municipal official.
Born on 13 July 1931, son of Murray Carlson and Ottilie Toews, he was a councillor (1989-1992) and Mayor (1993-1998) for the City of Portage la Prairie and President of the Manitoba Association of Urban Municipalities (1995-1997). He received a Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Medal (1977). He died at Portage la Prairie on 13 December 2012 and was buried in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
