The Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) created its Hall of Fame in 1982 to honour, in perpetuity, men and women whose contributions had demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to innovation, development, and maintaining the highest standards of excellence in broadcasting generally – particularly in Canada.
The Hall of Fame was added to until 2010 when the CAB was disbanded and recreated on a smaller scale.
