Memorable Manitobans: Claude Buffet (1885-?)
Real estate agent.
Born at Lyon, France in 1885, son of Claude and Alexandra Buffet, he came to Manitoba in 1902 and farmed for three years. In 1906 he established a real estate business at Winnipeg, working also as a financial agent. In 1912 he married Marie Landelle of Bordeaux, France. He was a member of the French Club of Winnipeg.
