Educator.
Born in the Rural Municipality of Westbourne on 11 February 1911, daughter of postmaster Harry Vernon Archibald (1879-1961) and Elsie Archibald (1882-?), she grew up at Plumas. She attended Normal School in the early 1930s and worked as a teacher in rural Manitoba, including as Principal of Wingham School (1935-1938). Around 1940, she married Sydney Buckler (?-?). They had two children, one daughter and one son, and later moved to Kelowna, British Columbia. She died at Kelowna on 22 April 2002.
