Businessman.
Born at Regina, Saskatchewan in 1906, he came to Winnipeg to attend the University of Manitoba. Following graduation in 1927, he enrolled at the Harvard Business School and received a degree in Business Administration. During the Second World War, he was active on the War Finance Committee. In 1944, he joined the Great West Life Assurance Company, retiring in April 1971 from a senior position in the investments division. He was then appointed Manager of Fry Mills Spence. On 16 August 1934, he married Gretta Helen Gordon at Winnipeg and they had two children: Gretta Brown (wife of Edmund Assaly) and Marcus Brown. He was a founding member of the Manitoba Museum (1965). He died at Winnipeg on 20 November 1977.
