Grain merchant.
Born in Ontario on 11 December 1880, son of David Wesley Bole and Isabella Lennox (1861-1931), he worked in his father’s Winnipeg drug company until the 1920s when he headed the Bole Grain Company and Electric Elevator and Grain Company. On 7 September 1904, he married Edith Mary Richards (1882-1950, eldest daughter of Albert Elswood Richards) at Winnipeg. They had two children: Elswood Frederick Bole and Edith Isobel Bole (1908-1971, wife of Leslie Carrington Radcliffe). He died at his Winnipeg home, 203 Kingston Row, on 16 July 1950 and was buried in the St. John’s Cathedral Cemetery.
