Architect.
Born at Winnipeg around 1924, youngest of four sons of David Berman (c1886-1960) and Fay “Fannie” Berman (?-?), he studied Architecture at the University of Manitoba. In 1966, he joined Malcom Donald MacLeod and Bruce Fredrick Webster to form the architectural and engineering firm of MacLeod Webster and Berman. On 23 March 1948, he married Valli Jean “Val” Portnuff (c1928-2020) at the Royal Alexandra Hotel and they subsequently had three sons. He died at Winnipeg on 4 September 2019.
