Samuel Warnock Beatty

Financial agent.
Born at Caledon, Ontario on 6 June 1876, son of Mathew Beatty (1837-1913) and Agnes Warnock (1838-1918), he was educated at Russell School. In 1896, he began working as a telegraph operator at Gladstone then came to Winnipeg in 1906 where he was a financial agent.
In 1902, he married Harriett Caswell (1880-1941) of Strathclair. They had one son and two daughters. In 1911, the family lived at 748 Buell Avenue, Winnipeg. His recreations included fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Conservative party and the Presbyterian faith.
He died at Los Angeles, California on 29 May 1922.
