Community activist.
Born on 22 November 1943, he was a teacher and physical education coordinator in the St. James-Assiniboia School Division, and Vice-Principal of Sturgeon Creek Collegiate (1994-2001). Known as the father of high school hockey in Winnipeg, he was a board member of the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association. He died at the St. Boniface Hospital on 27 May 2009.
