Olafur Thordur Anderson

Educator.
He attended Wesley College (1909-1913) and, in 1917, joined its teaching staff. He was appointed Dean of Arts in 1927. He was the Dean of Arts and Science at United College at the time of his death. On 2 October 1916, he married Helena Augusta Kennedy (?-1940) at Rivers. They had no children. He was killed in a car crash in the Interlake on 6 October 1958 and was buried in Brookside Cemetery. His honorary pallbearers were W. J. Lindal, P. H. T. Thorlakson, Ewart H. Morgan, Dr. J. W. Lawson, B. Scott Bateman, Douglas Chevrier, Dean L. A. Tomlinson, and A. H. Watson.
