Dentist, community activist.
Born at Prilipe, Slovenia on 31 October 1938 to Mihael and Antonija Zobarich, he married Anna in Italy, and they went on to have two sons. The family came to Canada in 1960. At Winnipeg, he developed a successful dental business, specializing in crowns and bridges.
He served as President of the Canadian Slovenian Cultural Society. Passionate about music, he founded the first Slovenian radio program on radio station CJOB in the 1970s, co-founded the Zvon Singers, who entertained the community with traditional folk songs for over 40 years, and was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes church choir.
He died at Winnipeg on 22 August 2009 and was buried in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
