Born on 3 June 1935, daughter of Freda Matlin (1909-1988) and Myer Goldberg (c1910-1962), she wrote children's books based on characters she had created when her own children were young. Two of her books were published and a comic strip based on her character Trumpet the Elephant was published in 55 Gannet newspapers including the Winnipeg Sun. She and husband Saul B. “Shelly” Zitzerman had two children. She died at Winnipeg on 19 January 2011 and was buried in the Rosh Pina Memorial Park.
